Crazy antique vintage decoration in home
I love to decorate my home with old and antique things. My home is for me a “scenography”, a decoration that will be built up and to handle any visual “nicely” from all sides. In my device comes decoration and visual definitely in the first row, so be it practical clamped afterwards in the best way. In a pedestal cabinet’s audio system and subwoofer tucked away behind a door, and this can be opened when the music should be enjoyed. Antique home furnishings and electronics, I have little difficulty getting mixed together, then storing it, that’s fine with me.
My education and background
I grew up with a team of parents, both of whom were trained decorators, and was gone much up in the decor of my childhood home. Although I am trained in the fashion industry and worked for 25 years in a profession where everything went up in the “look” and beauty before the jump was taken and K & Co. “French Antique & Industrial Vintage” became a reality. So maybe it’s just an “injury” right from my childhood that still plagues me when there should be designed home. When I left home, came especially my mother often passed and moved around on the decor, as she is not completely thought looked in the best way. There must be harmony in things, and often she was right, I could see it took somewhat better after she was gone.
What does decoration for you?
For me, the decoration in the decor, it gives personality and coziness, by far the most is “just” ornaments and without any practical function. But it helps to create “soul” in the home, and I enjoy every single thing every day. Kind of like go to a museum or an art exhibition, but of course the home must also function practically, but it should be for me personally also be a treat to the eye. I love old earthenware, and in my kitchen says it all not just for decoration as decoration. The old salt sprinkle gets really used and there will be also drunk coffee the old cups. Personally, I would not be able to thrive in a home without anything on the walls or with empty window frames.
